Will I be picked up and dropped off at my home?
Yes, Jervis Bay Airport Express is a door to door service from the Greater Shoalhaven area (Burrill Lake to Wollongong) Passengers outside these areas will need to meet our bus at a given pick up point in our pick up area.
How often do your buses go to Sydney airport?
Jervis Bay Airport Express has up to 6 buses going to Sydney and return each day (Excluding Christmas Day). Because each day is different our runs are worked out on the passengers already booked in.
My flight is very early in the morning, can you get me there?
Yes, Jervis Bay Airport Express arrive at the airport from 7am each day. If your flight is earlier than 7am we are happy to take you to any Airport accommodation the evening prior.
Do you go to the Cruise Ships?
Yes, Jervis Bay Airport Express are happy to transport you to and from the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay and White Bay Cruise Terminal.
Do you go to Central Station & CBD Hotels?
Yes, we can pick you up and drop you off at any CBD or Airport Hotel. We also drop off and pick up from Central Station. We ask for flexibility in pick up and drop off times in the CBD as we include these on runs going and coming from the airport.
When will I know my pick up time?
All passengers are given an approximate pick time when booking but as more passenger book onto the bus these times can change. We ask all passengers to confirm their booking 3-7 days prior to departure.
Passengers travelling from the NSW South Coast: All passengers will receive a SMS confirmation message the afternoon prior to travel between 2-6pm confirming your pickup time and meeting point. If this message is not received please contact us on 0421 000 001 ASAP. Please note that your return transport details will be confirmed prior to your original departure.
What is your cancellation policy?
If a booking is cancelled 3 days prior to travel (Australian ESDST), a $25 booking fee will be deducted from the refund. If a booking is cancelled less than 3 days prior to the date of travel (Australian ESDST) NO refund will be given. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance.
What if I can't find my driver at the airport?
It is most important that you go to the designated meeting point that you are given when booking. We ask all passengers for a mobile number and ask that you turn this on as soon as possible after landing. If you are having trouble locating the driver ring the office or after hours number on your paper work. Do not go outside looking for the bus.
Can I take my animal on the bus?
Our service does not provide transportation of animals other than assistance/companion dogs.
How much luggage can I take on the bus?
Allowance is made for 1 large bag, 1 medium bag and hand luggage each passenger. Any extra baggage will be charged at $10 per bag and must be declared at the time of booking or could NOT be taken due to space availability. Surfboards will incur a charge of $25 each. Oversize items such as mobility scooters etc., will attract a charge that will be determined on booking. Any fragile items are the responsibility of the passenger. The driver will assist all passengers with the loading and unloading of their luggage.
What if my flight is delayed?
Incoming flights are continually monitored. If your flight is delayed please contact the office ASAP notifying us of your delay. Where possible you will be moved to a later bus. We reserve the right to assess each situation at the time. If we are unable to provide you with transport you will be notified and a refund less the booking fee of $25 will be provided.
Can we travel with our children on the shuttle bus?
Travelling with children is not a problem with Jervis Bay Airport Express. Please notify us on booking that you are travelling with your children and we will provide carseats for children 4 years and under.
