Coronavirus (COVID-19) Travel Ban and Refunds
If a passenger decides to cancel or change their travel plans, they may not be automatically entitled to a refund. Businesses may be entitled to retain any reasonable expenses incurred as a result of passenger cancellations.
Passengers should also check the terms and conditions of their travel insurance. Most policies will only provide compensation for cancellation by the passenger in limited circumstances.
Passengers may not be entitled to a refund if the cancellation is due to a government travel ban.
Where a travel ban has caused the cancellation, passengers should check the terms and conditions of their contract and contact the travel agent or business who they booked with. If you have travel insurance, contact your insurer.
